My Fisheye lens divided my favorite city of Toronto in two half: relatively old on the right and very modern on left… The Old City Hall, which is now a courthouse for the Ontario government, was designed by Toronto architect Edward James Lennox and built in 1889, and declared a National Historical Site by the Historic Sites and Monuments Board of Canada in 1989. On the left side – Queen Street in downtown Toronto with its modern skyscrapers filled with offices, banks and stores…

Hi Alana,
Great composition, The distortion created by your Fisheye lens creates a great effect here. It looks like that the old and the modern are trying to touch themselves. Great colours and lights.
Take care
Fred

Hi Alana,

What a superb photo. I love the POV, sharpness, lighting and the deep, juicy colors of your shot. A superb job!

Greetings,

Ulf

Nice continuation of your fisheye series, Alana, brilliant composition here, I like how the lantern divides the frame in two halves with different architecture styles in every one of them. Very nice sharpness and exposure control!

Cheers
Sasha

Hi Alana,
good and impressive shot.
The fisheye lens gives a very good effect and prospective.
Good colours too.
Christian

Love the fisheye rendition. I like how the light strikes the older building and the little lights in the newer buildings.
The City Hall area of downtown Toronto is a beautiful place.

Nice shot Alana, a very effective way of using the fisheye lens! I also liked the stret lamp separating the two contrasting subjects, not to mention the nice remark.
Toronto once used to be my favorite city, but not anymore! Anyway thanks for sharing!
Cheers...

Dear Alana!

Thank you, nice days

Alana...absolutely fascinating how you have VERY cleverly divided the town. Results with the fisheye are very captivating and quality just unbelievable. Saludos, Robert

Hi Alana,
I feel like I'm inside a glass. Superb effect with your fisheye and I would say a good investment. Really this one is a beauty. Keep on clicking, and best wishes.

Hi Alana
Another great shot here with a great perspective and distortion. Good technical quality and great sharpness. I've often thought of getting a 10.5 mm lens but they are expensive in the UK. Still, I might reconsider. Nice work.
