Photographer's Note

After Andrew Orme’s great picture of one of these powerfull tug boats, I decided to create a theme on these ships. I have always been fascinated by these incredibly power little guys.

This is shot of Ocean Charlie, a harbour tug. He was commissioned in 1973 and is 120 feet long and is one of the many ships of the Ocean Transport company that we get to see everyday on the mighty St-Lawrence seaway.

Here, I was on the ferry that connects the south shore of to downtown Quebec. I waited until the ship was under the view of the Frontenac castle.
