Another city reflections shot from my recent trip home. I love the vivid blues, combined with the lines and reflections.
Notable buildings within the city include Christ Church Cathedral, the Hotel Vancouver, the Museum of Anthropology at the University of British Columbia, and the Vancouver Art Gallery.
There are several striking modern buildings in the downtown area, including the Vancouver Law Courts and surrounding plaza known as Robson Square, and the Vancouver Public Library (my favorite) which resembles the Colosseum in Rome.
Vancouver has kept few remnants from Expo '86; The Silver Golf Ball looking Science World, and the famous building with the sails- Canada Place which houses the Trade & Convention Centre as well as a Cruise Ship Terminal, as well as Science World."

I'm a fan of modern glass architecture and this scene caught also my eye when I visited Vancouver. Reflection of the tower makes this special.

A great day for the beautiful window reflections that create a fine quality abstract. The sharpness and colors are superb.

Great architectural photo, I'd say! I love the reflection of the Harbour Centre shown in this building. The different lines make this shot very special and very interesting. Excellent work, Dan!

The graphism, reflections and sheer colour variations in this shot are fascinating. There is a 3D effect here as well. I envy your abilities to capture urban scenes and interesting architectural lines in this manner. You are certainly showing off Vancouver in its best light, Dan. Well done.

Dan I think you and KevRyan have similiar talent in creating interesting city life compositions in glass and steel. Excellent reflections of the Pacific Centre in this high rise. Very nice composition Dan!

Great addition to your series on reflections. This allows us to see in two directions at once, both forward and backward. I like the way the building appears to have a series of steps and squares that give a nice sense of texture, which contrasts nicely with the smooth glass of the office towers. Excellent!

Hi Dan, I haven't had time to look on TE lately so now it's time to catch up a bit. This is a great imaginitive shot with strong colours, sharp detail and excellent repeating patterns.

Did you notice from my PBase gallery we took almost exactly the same view of this but with very different results - mine was just as it was starting to get dark - love the freshness and bright colours of this Dan - very nice - a beautiful clean image in the blue white range.
best wishes Kev
