Photographer’s Note

We spent a week canoeing in the Broken Group Islands off the coast of Vancouver Island. I couldn't believe my luck when this chap in a kayak happened by just as the sun was setting.

I cropped the image, changed the levels and slightly improved the red colour.

This is what life is about-:)) Nicely done and very clean shot. I personally love the paddle ski, and we spend alot of time out on the water. It is great fun and you do get fit! I love the colours in this pic. It looks a little unreal, but suits the mood. Well done & thanks for sharing.

An incredibly peaceful sunset view of this tiny Tofino inlet.The soft tones suit the scene well,not overly loud....just right for the mood.Well done.

Lovely sunset, great colours but my eyes wouldn´t stop at the sunset and the red colour on the water so i decided to make a workshop of it!Hope you enjoy it!

This version has a lot of depth in addition to the excellent color.

I see a couple other images here. Try a crop just under the kayaker. Then try another crop just above the kayaker.

Some sharpening will bring out a lot more detail.

Beautiful sunset and surreal, peaceful mood. I'd crop off the bottom quarter (just under the log) because I find it a bit too much black without substance. Still, a very nice shot.
