Photos

I went to Hastings Park race track today. This is a crop from a photo taken from the top stands, way back. The crop is at 100% resolution. I posted the original in a workshop.

I think I was very lucky that this turned out this way with both horses fully extended, and just about to cross the line.

I purposely tried to have a slower shutter speed to get the slight motion blur that you see. I just moved the camera with the horses (in continuous shooting mode), letting the background blur. I think next time I will try this at track level to get a better effect.

No post-processing, except for the crop.
