No trip to Quebec City is complete without a photo of Château Frontenac. Well, here's my requisite photo of the old landmark.
The Château Frontenac is a throwback to the golden age of train travel. Built as a Candaian Pacific Hotel (such as the Banff Springs and Chateau Lake Louise, CP sold off its hotels to Fairmont. Château Frontenac is THE hotel in Quebec, and is known as the home for Canadian Prime Minister Mackenzie King who holed up here for his entire term.
Scanned from a 35mm negative. Just a crop and contrast adjustment.
