[Note Guidelines] Photographer's Note
We were travelling from Calgary to Jasper and stopped at a layby (pull-in) on the main road between Banff and Lake Louise. I liked the view for obvious reasons, but had problems getting the shot I really wanted. I needed to include all of the bend in the river and wanted to exclude the fence in the foreground. Unfortunately I would have need to be about 6 feet taller! I couldn't move in closer as the ground fell away steeply to the fence and I wasn't keen to end my holiday before it had properly begun.
I have to accept the compromise.

Great scenery. But as you say shame about the fence - people that erect these items should be photographers and then we wouldn't have this problem.
