When looking at the falls from afar it looks like a hugh earthquake happened a long time ago and the earth gave away some 50 meters changing the course of the river.

In front of the falls, you can see a mountain of ice and snow that accumulated after a big snowstorm upriver.

Hi Enrique,
What is this? Some big pieces of ice? I don't really know, but it is beautiful. I like the different shades on them. Falls are impressive, especially in winter. I like a lot this one. A wonder why nobody wrote a little comment before. I so much like the colors, especially the bottom part of your picture. The blue/gray hues are soft and pleasing to the eyes. Good sharpness too. I appreciate it!

Interesante foto con esos gigantescos bloques de hielo, muy bien captados, es una foto que no se presenta a menudo, gracias por compartirla. Buena composicion.

Hola, amic Enrique,
de cuando en cuando repaso tu galería, si no pones nuevas fotos, y mirando tus fotos de Canadá, he visto que había comentado las otras y ésta no. Y es una lástima, porque también es muy efectiva e interesante. Me gusta el gran efecto de la fuerza del agua en estas famosas cataratas y la belleza de los dibujos sobre la nieve y el hielo, de fuerte grafismo.
Es muy bonita.
