Photographer’s Note

Lake Aquitaine and park in the morning light.
Ministry of Natural Resources will be stocking Lake Aquitaine in the City of Mississauga with 4000 trout. This stormwater pond was rehabilitated for a recreational fishery in the mid 1990’s and also supports populations of bass, sunfish, perch and catfish. It is also the location of an annual Urban Fishing Festival each July.

A very clear and colorful autumn shot, Ziggy. I see that the trrees didn't turn red yet, is autumn late in Canada this year?

This photo just draws me into it! Superb reflection and colors! I like the use of the filter at the top of the pic....it lets the eye rest on the edge of the lake!

Nice shot Ziggy;

The colors in the reflection are even brighter then the normal colors..
My only suggestion would be to include a bit more of the tops of the trees. A small point on an otherwise nice shot.

The yellow-green mirror effect on the water is quite impressive. The lightning on this central spot is noteworthy. (Jean-Pierre)

Love the reflections! Very pretty. Water, trees, and sky all are nicely captured. Perhaps, I might have tried to include the top of the trees cropped at the top of the picture. Otherwise, great shot.

Wonderful glowing colour, giving this instant appeal. The yellow/green of the tree really grab my attention, and the effect is doubled with the reflection. The dark sky as the effect of making the colour stand out even more. Very peaceful and beautiful.

A dual or half view in a mirroring and reflective world by your great imaginative and creative view of a excelent artist. No rules for 1/3 but here yours very well done by 1/2. All is perfect and the winter and ice didn't come to see your great masterpieces. Excelent quality, colors and your insight.

Very well done and composed in a great quallty nature picture as your good usual style and personal creative atmosphere.

des arbres dont les verts dégagent beaucoup de lumière, pas encore de grande percée de l'automne sur ces arbres, sauf à gauche dans le fond.
Un superbe coin où s'asseoir et se reposer, admirer la vue.

Of course I am attracted by the reflection from the first tree, but the whole picture is also very nice to see with these colors in the perspective.

An outstanding composition which highlights an unusually intense and alluring reflection. The reflection almost appears to light up the trees themselves, but that may be an illusion. The exposure level is ideal and the detail of the various types of trees on the far shore is clearly seen. Very well captured.

Oh, beautiful photo. I like colours so much, the deep blue of heaven switches to yellow of tree with great balance. Additionally all are reflecting in the mirror of water. Perfect pic.
