Here is the second photo of the same building that I had posted earlier. This is the CBC building in Toronto downtown, for more details please look at my previous post.
I wanted to post this photo just to give the viewers a better perspective of where these reflecting glasses were situated.
Secondly I like the two dish antennas on top of the building and also what appears to be a sun being reflected from the left side of the CBC building is actually a sunlight falling on the building on the opposite side of the CBC building and than hitting the CBC building. (In other words, I took this photo while facing the sun). There was a quite a powerful play of reflections from the buildings in the Downtown in the late afternoon.
Here is the updated result of the Opinion Poll from my previous post (last count: Oct 31, 2005) .
People who prefered
Thanks a lot for everybody's feedback, now I am even more confused. lols

Yes I recognized the building (or should I say the reflection) from your last posting. The buiulding is completely different from what I expected. I imagined the building to be covered in the shiney blue glass.
Looks a lot more interesting then the CBC station in Vancouver which mor resembles a bomb shelter I think...

Hi Sarju, Thanks for include the antenna on the top of the roof. From which I can tell the geometric direction, as the fixed satellite antenna always generally facing the southern direction. In comparing to the photo in WS, this one does provide a better view of the environment where the reflection mirror is located. Good reflection and nice repetition of the windows in the mirror section and out of the mirror section.

Another good post of those great reflections. I like the see the surroundings, that give the reflection a nice frame. Good colours too, well done!

An amazing scene. The reflected area appears like some gigantic Imax theatre presentation. Incredible colours and lines. Too bad about the vehicles, but there was little you could do unless you smudged them out in PS. I like the antennaes and also the distant building beyond. Definitely a success, Sarju, even with the cars..

Hello Sarju, I still prefer the shot with only the window :)
Also, the washed out area by the sun reflection on the left, is too evident.
Take care my dear, Yan

I think I like this one more than the close up of just the reflective glass. This gives it more of a television like feel. Or a large poster feel. Or, possibly, more like a portal through the wall of an otherwise ordinary building. Through here you can step into a totally different city.
But there are a few things I would do to this one. I would correct the perspective distortion. I think it would be stronger with the verticals truly vertical. I would also crop out the sky. And perhaps crop it a bit tighter on the right and a little on the left so the glass is still offset but with an overall more square format.
But I do like this and how it looks almost like a painting on the building. The colors are so clean and vibrant and the shapes, though distorted, are strong. It makes for a bright and clean city against a much more bleak wall in shade.
If I remember I'll have to try a workshop when I get on my "photoshop" computer.

Hi Sarju, I still prefer this shot. I would say no need to feel confuse as different people will have different preference.
Most important, you like what you shot. 8-)

Impressive ! It looks like 2 pics you have put together. Astonishing effect. Great compo even if I'm not sure the parking had to be in the frame...

I love the idea here with the reflections comming off the window it really works well. I have done a workshop on this with a little bit of a crop and explination.

Sarju, c'est un bel effet de mosaïque sur cette façade L'idée de l'architecte est excellente comme ton idée de l'avoir photographié. Beau travail !
