Photographer’s Note
This photo was taken in the forests of Lynn Canyon Park which in the northern part of Vancouver. Lynn Canyon is a second growth temperate rainforest. The original forest was centuries old and was logged in the late 1800's to early 1900's. This dead tree trunk is 6-7 feet in width.
