Photographer’s Note
A real national hero. Terry Fox. An amazing young man with a dream. His dream was to run across the whole of Canada raising money for cancer research. He too was a victim of cancer loosing his right leg just below the knee. He never finished that run. He had to call it off due to his failing health. He later died because the cancer had spread even further. I believe it made it too his lungs. It was on a walk that I found this statue. I never even knew it was there. It made me think of what this young man did for cancer victims everywhere. It makes me want to recognize his achievement. Terry Fox... Thank you. I adjusted just the contrast and brightness a little bit.
