Photographer’s Note

Along the Dyke on the north side of the Vedder Canal the Vedder turns east and evenually runs into the Fraser River. Two men in a boat are trolling this area. Part of the fun of getting upearly is not only to catch fish but to see lovely scenery. Enjoy

Well it's nice to see your eyes got better... This is a good composition with perfect autumn colors. The boat heading out adds the human interest we all enjoy here..

This photo makes me really envious. Living in a dry country I miss these trees and this river. Autumn is a great season to make photos is you are in a place like this. The light is not very intense nor very poor. The trees show the complete colours range: from green to red. Nice season that you captured here very well. The river, boat and tree in the foreground add a lot to the composition too.

Hi Paul. I see you found yourself a focal point! ;) Norbert usually makes very accurate critiques. I did wonder how many of my own shots lack a focal point. But it's excellent advice to remember for all of us. The reflections are modest but the warm light isn't. Nice one Paul!

It seems the autumn colours are well underway in Canada. There is a wonderful colour range here. Lots of diagonal lines are good for the eye and the fishing boat just tops it off.

I have missing this wonderful image, this is a good composition with perfect autumn colours, the river, boat and tree in the foreground add a lot to the composition too. Everything sharp and clear.

Hi Paul, A beautiful shot of the autumn color with clear blue sky as contrast background. A very well composed picture with the river flow through the bank. Nice to include the boat in the scene to bright life to the depth of the valley. Nice contrast and depth. Well done.
