Photographer’s Note
A classic shot that I surprinsingly did not find at all on TE... I actually found only one more picture of the Basilica at night. This is the Notre-Dame Basilica from the Place d'Armes. I have the chance to see this everyday as I work at the Aldred Building (top left).
For more information on the Place d'Armes:
It's in french but you have an interesting picture of both churches while the Basilica was build

A team of archeologist worked in 2004 in front of the basilica. If you go and visit Notre-Dame, look carefully at the stairs and the blue painting in the street you will see the location of the first Notre-Dame church. Take the stairs on the left hand side facing the Basilica and you will walk directly over the old cemetery of the first church. Several bodies remains have been found there in 2004. Archeologists were just surprised to find that many bodies as they thaught they have been removed while the first church has been demolished.

Wow! Quel belle photo Stef! Le temps d'exposition est parfait et l'image est pas mal 'sharp'! Le blue des fenętre donne beaucoup de charme ŕ la basilique. Bravo!
