Hello Julius, A nice shot of the receding light; particularly in the way the light "hangs" in the valley beyond the light. Perhaps, just perhaps, overall the is a little too much darkenss and not quite enough light to really set the image off. I am wondering if a slight increase in brightness and a narrow crop might lift it a little. (Might try a workshop).
Lovely image all the same.
With regards.

Hi Julius;
I like how you captured the highlighted cloud along with it's reflection in the water, and the addition of the ducks on the log is great.
Well done Julius!

I hope you don't mind, I've posted a worshop with some minor adjustments.

Good morning, Julius,
I like how everything in this photo points to the light: the bank of trees on the right, the slope of the mountains, the cloud itself, the reflections.. even the birds. I think the lighting effect as you have it is perfect, with dark moving toward light. The dark areas are natural for the time of day you were shooting, and so I disagree with the others that they need to be brightened, clarified, etc. It is the darkening world that gives final glory to the sun. I prefer the original to your workshop version, as I think the composition and light are much better.
Regards,
Lisa

Very nice, Julius! This photo is most pleasing to look at. The longer I study it, the more amazing details I see: the subtle light on the trees, the ducks/geese on the log, the different hues of color on the cloud over the trees....etc., etc. Bravo!
