Photographer’s Note
I was about to enjoy a nice supper with peaches and ice cream on pancakes when I get this phone call. Its a friend of mine informing me I should get over to his farm and take pictures for him of his corn harvest. So I quickly ate my supper and drove down to this field.
This is one of the photos taken in this corn field. This is the field that is being harvested here. And it all fits into the two Silos beside the barn.
I decided to post this one because I liked how the dogs made this a natural setting. Enjoy!

Hi Paul
I like the way you have used these diagonal lines in the landscape to enhance your composition .... and secondly you have certain objects (tractor, dogs and people) to create some tension and interest in this photo .... well done
cheers ... sarju

Well hello,
I love the composition of this shot.. as someone already said, a good depiction of daily life. The colors are nice and rich, and I like esp. how it is shot from the eye-level of the dogs.
I'm wondering about the sky looking just a tad washed out.. I'm guessing there was a bit of glare in the clouds. Other than that, an A-1 job....again.
Regards,
~r

Good one Paul! This looks almost posed, with the dog in front and the person at the right. I like the diagonal lines of the field, which makes this look more dynamic, and pulls your eye from left to right.

Hey Paul. For me this shot is all about the depth and DOF. I would be curious to know what your aperture was here. The dogs add an unexpected and lively element to the shot. It's good that you got down a little bit lower to capture the dog in the foreground more effectively. tfs Paul!

Hi Paul, the dogs is indeed nicely posed, but place itself and your point of view is very nice and would be as pleasnt without the dogs, well done.

I love this kind of photos and surely I am expecting to go and see the farmers work here too.
Well seen the dog in foreground and nice perspective on the corn (Maïs).
Good colors and also good indication of the time of the year they do these work in Canada, it will fe in a fortnight here for the last crop (dried one).

Hi Paul, I like the perspective view, and the color contrast in this picture. You have well captured the dogs and the two persons: one was working and another was watching. A very well taken picture.

Hi Paul,
Well, this is the shot I have been hunting the Valley for lately since my return and you have nailed it. The working tractor with the red machine is perfectly caught in harvest mode. The man and his dogs enhance. I love the look of the stubble and rich brown soil of the field. Very well captured, Paul. Fine work.
