Many years ago I have visited friends in N.S. in late November ... and we had snow which was so beautiful - as your picture shows.

Well this sure cools things down on a hot summer day! I like this shot a lot - the way the trees frame the scene, and the reflection off the lake. One thing that might make it better is to try to darken the sky, which would bring the colours out more. If I get some time later I might try a workshop on this, but it looks good as is.

Ca fait du bien de voir un peu de fraicheur alors qu'on a si chaud ces jours ! belles image bien composée avec une bonne gestion de l'exposition

Indeed this is a refreshing image to view as we struggle with our current wave of heat and humidity.The shadowed blues of the snow remind me very much of a painting by Group of Seven painter Lawren Harris.Click HERE for a look at his Snow II.
