Photographer’s Note
In the Fraser Valley we have a number of places where Foxgloves bloom at this time. This is a morning shot with the CAnon 50mm 1.8 lens. In order to get the depth of field I took two shots and merged them together. The large blossum on the left was added in. I took this along the dyke roads May 29. Enjoy.

Hi Paul,
Beautiful low key shot with very effective and beautiful highlights on the flowers. The nice DOF is perfectly achieved and I also love the arrangement of the flowers. It is lively and soothing. Impressive!! All the best and a nice weekend.

Hi Paul. That's a great technique to overcome that problem. I find it sometimes annoying when you've got one thing in focus and everything else must be sacrificed. The foxgloves come across great and we can see all sorts of detail. Impressive Paul!

Hi Paul
Brilliantly executed while maintaining the sharpness of the Foxgloves flower. But I felt that the background have been too dark, eventually making the flower a little dark, too. Anyway of improving such shot without the use of external flash?
Well done.
