Photographer’s Note
This is another one from a Pinkhassov wannabe mood that was following me around in Toronto last month. I had to crop this one a bit at the bottom--an ugly car. I was intrigued by the little image of the fellow throwing a ball in the reflecion. I had seen that fellow when I clicked the shutter but never imagined the detail will register. I don't like the central placement of the mannequin, but I couldn't bear to trim any of the reflections either. Well, let me know what you think.

hello animesh, i miss pinkhassov's colours here :)
about the mannequin, well i'd prefer it even a bit more centered. why? in that way you'd have "april" on one tree, "showers" on the other and the dress in the middle.
but it is great as it is now.

Ahh Pinkhassov, I have more respect for him every day; his shots are deceptively difficult to emulate. Sadly here, the potentially interesting character, the person on the phone, is too obscure in this shot. Also the white sky and complete sign which is obscured slightly by the manequin is too much...
i love reflections, they make great shots, and when i see them i imagine the photo in my mind, but they are often not strong enough to make me dig my camera out or wish i had it with me. They are just moments, like the one you took here (and my last shot). You also make it harder by using BW i think. GP likes his colours.

Very interesting Animesh, generally this central mannequin would bother me as a placement, but it doesnt here.. i quite like the overall effect here somehow..as if the world is divided into two by this mannequin.
all these reflections are very appealing for me here..and lady's positions inside..
actually this doesnt look so Pinkhassov-ish to me at all.. its more like your interpretation (or style whatever you name it) with the reflections i must say..
Nice one..
cheers.
