The prevoius posting on Joe Sommers Farm was looking south. This view is looking east towards Mt Cheam. After looking at this view its makes working on a farm enjoyable. I used the pathway as a lead into the photo and the corn on the right. Another 2 weeks its almost harvest time.
Joe told me last summer that he had a visit from a commercial company. They wanted to do a 30 second clip of a Mustang roaring through the corn field. They almost chose this farm. Of course they would pave a roadway through the corn field to record the commercial. They would also fix up the barn, paint it and make the whole farm setting to theri liking. Then after the commercial is done they would pull the pavement off the field too. All for 30 seconds of commercial that people are getting tired of seeing all the time.
