Photographer’s Note
This is the view from CN tower, Toronto, Canada.
The CN Tower is the world's tallest building as well as Canada's most recognizable icon at a height of 553.33m (1,815 ft., 5 inches).
I just wanted to share with the viewers of TE what it was like to view TO downtown from the top of the tallest building in the world. In the photo you can also see the Lake Ontario and the Gardiner Expressway. I hope the viewers will like this photo as much as I like it ... Cheers.
The shadow of the tower can give you the idea about how tall it is ... sorry about the image being a bit blurry, I could not scan it that well.
For more fascinating history see the post by DAM.
The white marks in the lake Ontario are the boats, yachts, or those things that float on the lake for navigation purposes.

Very impressive but a bit blurry unfortunately. I've been there actually and it's really impressive!! Especially this floor where you walk on a transparent glass!

Certainly a very difficult photograph to take... the glass on the CNE is very thick and the reflection of light is hard to deal with. I do want to give you a couple of suggestions to enhance your photo. If you have Photoshop you have a tool call HEAL this will fix little blemishes and you can also sharpened the image slightly without getting pixalitation, ran it on NI then get rid off the noise then USM 85-1-4 and voila...all good and ready to go.
By the way... I go up there only when I really have to... TOURISTs that come over and ask me to take them up. Other wise.. NO THANKS do not like heights. Since you have only been here since 2001 I will give you a piece of history... CNE used to have a Dance club on top called ... ready for this?...SPARKLES. It used to be neat as you would dance with the stars. There you have it my friend. Toronto is an awesome city.

Hi Sarju
A nice POV. I really like the inclusion of the shadow as it really puts things in perspective.

Hi Sarju, A fascinating picture. This photo does provide us the idea of how tall this architecture is. I have been on the top of this tower twice. The most exciting part was to walk on the glass floor.
A nice color good contrast, although a little blur. The under the sun light blue colored Lake Ontario made this picture beautiful.

I wish this image were sharper, Sarju, but I love the point of view here. Light and composition seem just right. Nice work.

This is a great picture, taken from a fantastic POV! I like this view of those little buildings very much and it's very nice you captured the tower's shadow as well!
Very well done! :-D

Well you sure picked a great time of day to shoot this scene. It is lovely and just an awesome view. I love how that CN Tower shadow falls over the buildings below. This is a fantastic shot.

what a point of view ! the cars look like ants...I like the shade of the tower nicely framed in your image, and the way the coast forms a diagonal, separating the photo in 2 parts : the urban part and on the other side, the deep blue water. well done. it just lacks a bit of sharpness. thanks for sharing.

Hi Sarju,
I thought you took this shot from somewhere in the sky...! well...i guess, actually u did..:) Forget the blur...amazing snap Sarju. I guess the white line above the building in the center are smudges in the glass of the tower, right?
Good view

Impressive point of view. What I like the most here is the shadow... everything looks so small next to it.

Very cool shot of the oft photographed (and rarely this original) CN Tower Sarju! Very good to get the shadow in there, and a great deep blue in the water. It (almost) makes me homesick!
Too bad about the bad scan.

Greatphoto - I would love to see the original if this is a scanned photo! The lighting is great and you can see the outline of the CN tower perfectly!

..... Well captured! You did commented my similar photo of TV tower in Lithuania and said that yours is nicer to you, well, I say the same, your photo is much more interesting, the high is bigger, and the city is awesome! Thank you for sharing it. Keep posting. Justinas.

Hello Sarju, I love this photo, very high indeed, I had the vertigo when I went there.
Very good picture and composition. Good idea with the shadow.
It's a bit blurry as Seb36 says but it's always moving on the top. Hard to take a sharp picture I guess. The colour of the water is great and so deep blue.
Well done, Yan

Sarju, this really gives a good impression of just how tall this building is. It's a good composition with the shadow pointing towards the corner of the frame. I also like the road curving through the picture.

Hi Sarju - this is a random find, it could use a tad more sharpness but otherwise the light and composition are fantastic and the glare from the glass is not bothersome, makes me want to scan my ancient photos from this tower.

Exquisite POV and idea!
In one single picture you have managed to capture what you were looking at and where you took the picture from! Wonderful, truly wonderful! The best POV I've seen on this tower on TE :D
Thanks for sharing!
