Photographer’s Note
I've posted a picture earlier this year with a colorful view of Perce Rock, it was taken from Bonaventure island on the other side (to the right). Here's another view from the town of Perce this time, on this pleasant august morning in 2004 behind these colorful chairs. After a few pictures, I sat a few minutes under this gorgeous sunny sky and just relax, enjoy.

This photo is well balance. It gives me a calming effect and the chairs are really colourful on the green lawn.

Wow! Did that ever catch my eye! The color presentation of the chairs (I love photos of empty chairs enjoying a pleasant view!) is a wonder and a nice view of Roche Perce in the background. One small critique - maybe clone out that lamp on the far left that has no attachment. Thankfully it is not prominent and doesn't really distract.

Hi Pierre, A beautiful landscape and beautiful way to see it. A very well composed picture. The diagonally arranged line of chairs made this an eye-catching picture. The blue water and blue sky made the special rock stand out.
A well composed, very clean, clear, sharp and detailed photo. Nice frame, too. Well done.

j'adore.

Very inviting-looking scene with the amazingly colorful deck chairs looking out onto the water. One more time, Perce Rock proves to be a great photo subject that you included well in your framing here. Good shot, Pierre.

Hello Pierre,
Very nice photo. I love all those coloured chairs. They look very graphic they way the are placed here. You have some good colours: green grass, bright red, blue and red chairs and a nice blue sky and see.
Nice wide sky and that rock in the see make the composition very exciting. But the texuture of the stone is a bit strange, on some parts it looks very sharp, on some parts very vague. But it is not really disturbing.
Good photo!

Okay now I am counting how many colors of each chair in the scene and it is quite balanced. 3 red 4 yellow 2 blue..the over powering feature of red compensated the 4 yellow and having only 2 bluw makes it a competition between yellow and red. This photo is just great. The colored chairs really make it attractive viewing. I bet you knew you would get alot of comments with all the extra color. That huge hunk of rock looks great too.

It's almost as an installation of art, Pierre, a bit surrealistic to see these colorful chairs together with the beautiful sea and that remarkable island as a backdrop. They seem so sturdy and call on such attention, that the island seem to be the fragile part. What brings order to the relation is the ship approaching the pier with a lot of people waiting - and the real scale is understood. But for a moment it's a very dramatic picture. Very well done!

Cher Pierre,

Bonjour Pierre,
This is a dramatic and colorful composition. Brightly painted Adirondack chairs are irresistable to the photographer.
Others have not commented on what I think is quite a serious drawback in your image: It is very pixellated, granular and not sharp: I wonder why, since it is taken with a good camera.
Further, I agree with another TE member's comment - you sould delete the lamp on the left.

Bonjour, Pierre.
