I caught this cute little critter taking a snack break while on a hike in the McLeod River area.

It's a nice study. Well exposed and framed but a Chipmunk it ain't!! It is a young red squirrel.
The background is thrown nicely out of focus and concentrates nicely on the main subject.

Great nature shot. The chipmunk is sharply in focus and the DOF is good. There is some action in the shot (at least the animal is doing something) and the light reflecting in the eye is a nice touch. However, I would consider cropping much closer to the chipmunk (especially on the left hand side) to place the emphasis more on the animal.

Nice close-up, I like the reflection in its eye. The details and colors are sharp. Well seen!

Nice colors and details on this squirrel. It really comes out nice against this blurred green background. I would consider cropping to the left to put more off centered.

Great capture of this little chap busily engaged in "cooking himself dinner" ;-) For my part, I think I'd crop a little left and possibly bottom, too, to get him out of dead center.

Very nice shot, very sharp and a very good DOF. I have some picture of squirrel too. But here in Quebec they're not like this one. Nice!

Very good shot. These little things usually run a mile when anyone is around. You did well to get close enough to capture this.
