Photographer’s Note
Just around the corner from Clifton Hill on a busy tourist street is this “Italian” restaurant. The cracked stucco appears to be part of an intentional attempt to make the place look like an old Italian restaurant. But the new disrepair is combining with the old to take the building out of time and out of geography. The As Seen on TV ad in the window just seemed to fit so well.

You have captured one beautiful spot! What I like most in it is not only the fine combination of textures and details but the bright red color, bringing by me, a lot of vitality there. And it goes so well with the /red/ add from left, as well as with the /again red/ lamps from inside, half seen through the windows.
