A massive ice storm encapsulated much of Eastern North America in late December 2013. This image shows the cable car ferry @ Gondola Pt, New Brunswick enduring and traversing those extreme & frozen conditions.

We could say for this image that it's a fusion of fire and ice, heat and cold, a contrast that makes one wonder how this can be possible... Definitely not an easy condition for living there during the winter. Cold blue ice which shackled the soil and water mixes with fire from the sky, and on the ground creates lakes of hot lava... Sky is saturated, but in a good way and here it just adds to the atmosphere. In some other circumstances it would be to much, but here it's something unique, as if it's not Earth, but venomous atmospheres of Venus or Mercury. Hence, the sensation of inhospitality is further amplified. However, it's something that is inviting, challenging and can easily be an outset of new unforgettable adventure...
