Autumn (fall) colours are wonderful in Canada. On Bark Lake, this wharf under construction was decorated with hanging flowerplants by the owner. The wooden logs form a "crib" (log cages filled with rocks and sunk as wharf foundations). Canon Powershot S100 - automode.

This is very amusing. Of course I know this lake and so it is nice to see a familiar view. How bizarre to put plant pots of flowers on your wharf under construction. How do they water them? Must be eccentric people!

Colours are nice indeed!
Perhaps a bigger DOF would have made this shot even better.
