There is a very realistic glass campfire at Crossiron mall in Calgary Alberta. I was impressed with the design details and thought the picture was well worth taking. Each piece of fire is a blown piece of glass and each are highlighted with special lighting. Looking up to the ceiling is the moon and strips of campfire sparks in the sky above and complementing stars in the dark wedges. In the workshop you can see the details of the glasswork.
I thought if it would be better to enjoy the real thing out camping or at the beach instead. But this is artwork on display. Enjoy.

guess we're both going into our old galleries to fish out photos!
this is one of those shots i'm sure the subject looks better in person , or should be seen in person to appreciate the workmanship put into the glassware.
funky looking ceiling as well. thanks for this unique and different subject.

This glass campfire is really eyecatching. Very clever and beautiful design. it is nice to sit by real fire but this artwork is also beautiful.

What an original subject and composition. The vertical frame is well chosen. As you say, the real thing would be lovely, but this piece of artwork is fascinating. Excellent light control, sharpness and textures.
Have a beautiful day

Great vertical frame. The light and colours are really excellent. Good sharpness and nice contrast of textures too. The wide angle lens has worked very well with this one. Thanks for sharing.

Color of red is really beautifully and vividly rendered, Glass flames are very aesthetically manufactured. Very nice capture of the attractive artwork.
Have a nice day, Hisashi

Hi Paul, An interesting photo showing great colours & very good light, I like the low POV as it helps elongate the fire, a nice piece of artwork, kind regards Wilson.
