We traveled to Edmonton last September and checked out Fort Edmonton Park. This is the place to go back in time to discover the history of Edmonton.
Providing the best in living history, the working staff will take you back in time to show you the culture and history of early Canadian life.
Fort Edmonton Park is situated on 64 hectares (158 acres) of parkland in Edmonton’s river valley. What began as a Canada Centennial project in 1967 to reconstruct the old Fort Edmonton, quickly grew to encompass much more. Thanks to the dedicated efforts of the Fort Edmonton Foundation, the Park now includes the 1846 Fort and the Streets of 1885, 1905 and 1920, depicting the evolution of Edmonton’s early history. Fort Edmonton Park is owned and operated by the City of Edmonton.

An interesting note and good photo. This is very amusing scene, when the child run away from daddy. And the father is disturbed, 'cause the child can get under a horse. You captured funny moment
Have a great day!

Bonjour, cher Paul,
Nous voilà plongés au bon temps du Far West (d'après les fameux films).
Belle reconstitution qui permet aux adultes de retrouver une part de leur enfance.
Excellente initiative de la part de la ville d'Edmonton.
Jolie réalisation très lumineuse.

This picture seems to have the qualities of a painting. The colours are outstanding. Great point of view and a well balanced composition, the inclusion of the father and child in the shot and horse and carts are nice additions too. Thanks for sharing.

Lovely image! very rich colour, especially green attracts me strongly. a little girl wearing pink clothes makes a good accent. A tone like HDR also works to create an impressive image. Beautiful work.
Have a nice weekend, Hisashi
