Photographer's Note

Mount Hector, clearly visible in the center-right, is a prominent 3394 m peak situated close to the intersection between Trans-Canada Highway and the Icefields Parkway. Far in the background, on the right, one can make out Mt. Assiniboine. Between the false peak of Observation Peak, where the image was taken from, and Mt. Hector are Mt. Andromache, Dolomite Peak, and Cirque Peak.
