Photographer's Note

This is apparently the oldest wooden silo still standing in Quebec.

I was attracted to the opposite tilt of the silo and the pine tree.

Today, most silos are either made of cement or galvanized steel and lack the warmth of wood.

For this photo I used a Mamyia 645, medium format and Fuji Pro 160C negative film. The 35mm lens is equivalent to a 24mm in SLR format.
