Photographer’s Note
Photo taken on the south end of Lasqueti Island in the Strait of Georgia, British Columbia on Canada's west coast. This is an area rich in scenery and biodiversity. The Strait of Georgia has been dubbed the worlds largest estuary. A remarkable place!

This is a fine photograph, and holds my interest. The shapes of the tree and clouds, with the complimentary colors of the grass and water and the contrast obscuring some detail make this enjoyable. I have always wanted to travel to this area, and have been close, just not close enough.

Well seen Hugh! A wonderful sky and apparently are the clouds to submit the tree.
Very interesting compo, even if (in my monitor at least) the shadows are a little too blocked.

I like the dynamism of the frame and what can seem an underexposure improves (imho) the drama of the scene.
