Photographer’s Note
If you ever visit Banff Alberta there is a park on the north side of highway 1 called Cascade Ponds. There you will find many picnic tables, an arch bridge and Mt Rundle in the background. There is no end to photo opportunities in this area. On the morning that we arrived here the air was hazy which interfered with the clarity I was searching for. On the other hand the pond in this park was still warm from hot summer days and the morning stillness allowed this mirror reflections. Please pardon my oversight in allowing the left side from over exposure from the morning sunlight. Enjoy.

Hi Paul,
Very interesting point of view over Mount Rundle from a lesser known spot.
Good warm light, and very calm pound that mirrored the the famous rock.
Efficient composition and good blend between man-made structure and nature.
Cheers!

Hi Paul,
The atmosphere is well conveyed with thes reflexions, the soft colors and the slight mist... The bridge adds interest and gives good depth.

Hello Paul,
it is a pretty good, perfect reflection, the clarity is amazing. Despit of the overexposure the colours are very good. I like it, thank you for the interesting note, too.
Have a nice day

Hi Paul
An excellent reflection. The bridge provides a wonderful visual element in this light and it is a gentle curve between the two triangles formed by the mountain.

Hello Paul -
With the strong morning light this image was not a piece of cake to produce so apologizing for the light is not necessary. I do like the reflection and the complete reflection of the bridge and Mt Rundle makes up for almost any imperfections. Well done!
Thank you for sharing.

Nice shot Paul;
Very clean feel to it. The mountain is a very dominating subject for sure. I might have been tempted to crop out a bit more of the sky to make for a little stronger composition, and the other thing which I happened to spot were the little dust spots which might be worthwhile cloning out buddy.
All the best ;-)

Hi Paul,
I do not care about the overexposure because it is not spoiling the loveliness of this composition. There is such an incredible atmosphere of harmony and serenity and calmness that I became totally relaxed while looking at the image!
A very thoroughly composed impression with excellent reflections! Congratulation!
Warm regards

Morning Paul
Sorry, i must have missed your latest uploaded photo.
Another pretty picturesque scene from Banff, i've never been!
Appears to be very calming, serene and tranquil. You certainly were able to capture a mood - thats always a success.
It goes without saying, that the reflections are sharp, and the mountains are as well.
Great work
Until next time

Hi Paul
Yet another beautiful scenic shot. You should make a calender! This is lovely with the crystal clear reflection. Good DOF and composition as usual. Good rustic feel captured.
Best regards,

Hello Paul,
There is such a sense of calm in this photo. The small bridge is perfectly-placed in the frame. I would love to sit at one of those picnic tables you mentioned in your note. :-) I like the change in brightness from left to right due to the position of the morning sun. That tiny cabin in the distance next to the trees is also a nice detail.
