Photographer’s Note
I was out at Sendell Gardens yesterday afternoon. This little park is located in the middle of the City of Langley and is surrounded by houses. There is a small creek that runs through the park and under a large ornamental maple. Since there were more leaves on the ground than on the tree I decided to post this shot today.

Hi Phil
I'm going to have to check out this area. Looks very similar to a couple places i've been to lately, tynehead park in surrey and Cliff Park in Maple Ridge.
The leaves are very colourful and arranged perfectly for you, especially the 2 large ones in the foreground bottom.
nice work
Have a great day

An original and beautiful autumn photo, a fine compositioin with the red, yellow and orange leaves spread on a rock table crossed by a contrasting water flow.

Hey, Phil,
that is one beautiful shot. Those colors just BEAM. Mad good detail, great composition and I really like the effect the slow shutter speed had on the water. The trees here still have a LOT of green left, so I am still waiting for some fall color. That is a superb photo. Well done! Many thanks and warmest wishes,
Shelly

Great shot Phil!
I've always wanted to attempt a shot like this, unfortunately I just don't have the fall colors to work with. Mind sending me some fall leaves? ;-)
Vibrant leaves, but personally I'd like to see a little more 'pronounced' water. What I mean is, even though the slow shutter speed- the 'smokey water' effect is really not that noticeable here.
Maybe a slighly lower angle capturing more of the stream might have achieved that? Either way- better then anything I've ever captured of fall colors!
Cheers,
- Dan

Hi Phil,
Beautiful mix of maple leaves, so impeccably displace that it almost looks like you have placed them one by one... :-P)
I really like the velvety effect of water stream and the way the rocks appear.
Good focus through and through.
Cheers!

Hello Phil. I would have to say its not simply the splash of color on these moss covered rocks but how you arranged the edge of the rock and waters edge in the frame that makes this photo excellent. Very well managed use of space Phil...nice work.

Hello Phil
Hi again. Great title as that is what captures your eye here - all the colourful leaves. Your image is crystal clear and lovely to look at. I recognize you used a time elapsed shot to soften the water. Everthing is working well here.
Have a good night,
Tosca

Hi Phil,
Splendid fall composition with the vividly colored leafs sprinkled across the moss covered boulders.
The muted surface of the small brook really works well.
Very good job here.

Hi Phil,
This is a very fine image - true fall colors and I like the meandering stream cutting through on the diagonal. TFS. Gerald

Hi Phil!
The colors of the fallen leaves portray beautifully the glow of the autumn season. Their interesting shapes and intricate details are striking against the mossy rocks in the creek. Thanks for sharing

Hi Phil,
beautiful autumnal detail.
The leaves have a cute sharp shape and are so colorful!
But the whole composition is fantastic. Especially I like the contrast of crispy sharp rocks (you can really see their texture) and the flowing water.
Very well done,
M

Hi Phil!
Simple, but very good and a good autumn shot! I especially like the effect created by the fallen leaves, with different tonalities. Good exposure also!
