Back to the future? Photo

Photographer’s Note

Most of you will recognize this as Lake Louise, in Alberta's Rocky Mountains, right? So why the title? Because I'm reminiscing over my last trip to this magical place, back in the Fall of '07 - and dreaming of the next visit, hopefully in the Fall of 2010!
I know I've posted other shots from here previously - please forgive my self-indulgence: coming from the flatlands of Perth, Western Australia, this sort of scenery is almost orgasmic for me!

Can't help yourself Jeff. That part of Canada has been on my list for a long time but this and previous photos have convinced me to push it up the list!
Great POV and just enough reflection to add to the effect.

Très beau cliché avec une belle sensation de profondeur.
en revanche les feuilles du premier plan me paraissent un peu trop saturées (couleur trop fluo), as-tu poussé le curseur de photoshop un peu trop fort ?
Sinon les couleurs globales (lac + arrière plan ) sont superbes. Bravo pour cette photo !

I totally understand what you are feeling! This is such an amazing shot with great light, beautiful colours and details. The clouds are amazing and the reflections on the water are super as well! Great work!
