World Famous Banff Springs Hotel. The original hotel was built by the Canadian Pacific Railway and on June 1, 1888 the Banff Springs Hotel opened its doors and advertised itself as, "The Finest Hotel on the North American Continent". These railway hotels were designed to serve the passengers of the country's then expanding rail network and they celebrated rail travel in style.
Sadly the hotel fell victim to fire and burnt down in 1926. Construction started immediately on the current Scottish Baronial style with towers and stone walls, giving it the nickname 'Castle of the Rockies'.
I hope you like the shot,

Wonderful mountaineous landscape with evergreen trees all around surrounding that magnificent building! Excellent pov and composition! Soft colors and lights do please me!

What a beautiful hotel. It looks a great place to stay. The place indeed is very pretty too. Love the pine trees and the mountaings touching the sky.
Well done and nice note too.
