Cette avenue est bordée d'une quarantaine de résidences unifamiliales à l'aspect cossu comme celle représentée sur la photo.
Le nom de cette avenue fait référence aux soldats britanniques et français qui sont morts le 28 avril 1760, lors de la bataille de Sainte-Foy. La résidence officielle du premier Ministre du Québec a déjà été sur cette avenue. Aujourd'hui, on y retrouve la résidence du Consul Général de France à Québec, François Alabrune.

This avenue is bordered by forty rich-looking houses like the one on the photo. The name of this avenue makes reference to the British and French soldiers which died on April 28, 1760, at the time of the battle of Ste-Foy. The official residence of the Prime Minister of Quebec was on this avenue. Today, we can find the residence of the General Consul of France in Quebec, François Alabrune.

Olá Denis,

Bonsoir Denis,

La prise de vue 3/4 est un atout à la composition. elle permet de voir avec précisaion les détails et les couleurs de l'architecture de cette maison cossue. Les arbres cadrent bien la résidence. La réflexion de la lumière rehausse les couleurs sous un beau ciel bleu. Bonne soirée.

Hi Denis,
Between the vivid blue sky and the deep white snow this lovely brick home stands out brilliantly.
The colors here are fantasticely clear and natural to go along with your usual razor sharpness.
I see there is still quite a bit of now left up there in Quebec.

Belle prise de vue, très nette. Il me semble bien que c'est exactement cette résidence qui a logé le premier ministre et qu'on appelait l'Élizette à l'époque.

J'aime beaucoup le point de vue en contre-plongée, ça rend la maison plus imposante. Les arbres sans feuilles sur le ciel bleu font un complément remarquable.
