Photographer's Note
Back to one of my favorite subjects, and places in Vancouver...the financial district downtown.
I have posted a similar photo of this same location a long time ago, but this one is different because of the long perspective lines and deliberate keystoning of the buildings. Normally i try to correct the keystoning in post processing, but i like the natural lean in this one.
The long structure on the left is an elevated walkway from the city buildings to the Ferry Terminal which takes passengers to North Vancouver.
Hope you enjoy it.
Thanks for looking.
Craig

Hi Craig,
Wonderful hot vs cold color contrasts between the deep blue sky & artificial yellow illumination. Well managed perspective with the wide angled lens. Impeccable sharpness & good light contrasts. Tfs!

Hi Craig,
Your favorite - blue hour in the modern district. Impressive this long walkway. Nice composition and colours. I have always doubt if i should correct keystoning in pp. The lean here looks attractive.

Hi Craig
it is so crisp, and I do like the wide angle mood to bend the buildings. Superb colors contrast berwen the illuminated windows and the cloudy blue sky.

Hello Craig,
This is a fine blue hour photograph for its colour, sharpness and lack of noise.
There will be some who will not like the unnatural leaning of the buildings, to me, it gives them a strnge sort of life; the buildings seen to be responding, relating to oneanother; certainly the skyscraper on the right is taking a great interest in elongated walkway!
Have a good day,
Bev :-)

Hi Craig,
I also like this part of Van(but East-side was more interesting for walks in my point of view)Great looking blue hour shot with the walkway that lead the eyes to the middle of the scene. I especially like the yellow light from the walkway combined with the zigzag pattern of the construction. I also like the skyscraper to the right who looks like it threaten to collapse, cool effect!Overall a nice shot with beautiful combinations of colors and light, well done!
Have a nice week-end in Vancouver!

Hi Craig
superb blue hour shot, taken from such a tantalising POV and full of wonderful lines. Like the concept here and the way everything is clear and sharp and sloping inwards. Very effective use of the W/A.
Have a great weekend - Brian.

Bonjour Craig

You are great!
