Photographer's Note

A church in suburban Victoria, on the southern end of Vancouver Island. It may even qualify as a cathedral! Anyway I liked the warm cold color contrast between the reddish tinted stonework and the blue sky. I'll hunt around on internet for more info.

Taken with a 28mm wide angle lens, so there is some lens barrel distortion. I've used this pattern: /|\ & let the verticals fall where they will.

Okay, found it. This is the Methodist Church:

"The Metropolitan Methodist Church was called the Metropolitan United Church for the first thirty years of its existence. The Church traces its origin to events of 1858. Its first service of worship was held on the morning of February 13, 1859."
