Photographer’s Note

Another shot from Sendell Gardens in Langley, B.C. I find that it is difficult to display all the fine detail in these types of images when they have to be resized down to less than 300KB. If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.

Another colourful photo from this quaint little garden.
I like how the viewer is first attracted to the orange on the ground, but then the creek leads us up to the large trees and the small wooden bridge.

good light management, as there are no areas overexposed, great mixture of colours in different areas of the photo.

There's something about paths strewn with autumn leaves that begs a walk, an amble, a stroll right there - love the colors and details here. This kind of shot is for the taking almost no matter what the light is - often better, in fact, on dull days. well done and TFs. Gerald

You make finding pretty shots look easy but I know that it's not always the case. I think you captured both detail and clarity with this shot. Nicely composed with the creek on the one side, the bridge in the back and the colourful path guiding your eye into the scene. Beautiful shot!

Hello Phil,

Ways of forest as I like them… This carpet of coloured leaves gives a very good contrast with the remainder of the landscape. It's a pity that we do not have yet, on Internet, the possibility of having the good odors of the underwoods !!! For your question, I think that best is to find an Internet site which takes your photographs in original format and which you put a link in your note so that one can have more details, but I find that it is already well here…

Jeeze, I miss scenes like that. And we actually get them in West Virginia. I love that bright path of brilliantly colored leaves and the nice sharp detail you got.
