Sherbrooke Lake is near Kicking Horse Pass, between Field and Banff, and within Yoho National Park. It can be easily reached from the main highway by a good walking track. This view is from the northern end looking down toward the cloud-filled Kicking Horse River valley. The lake was just beginning to thaw, with most of it covered by beautiful blue-green ice.

Hi Vincent. I have never been to this lake however I have seen it from the summit of narao Peak. From up there I can see the setting is spectacular and this picture makes justice to the beauty of the area. I think the picture is a little too blue/green but otherwise very nice.
