Photographer's Note
Reflection photos are a must in any visit to the Rockies. There are already a several great photos of Emerald Lake reflections but here is my take. We walked around the lake in the opposite direction to usual (with the views in front of you) going through the rainforest area with plenty of wild raspberries still in fruit (but no bears!). Sights of the reflections of the peaks opposite came in gaps in the forest.
I've tried to keep the photo as natural as possible.

Hi Ian,
Excellent panorama with marvelous reflections. The depth of field is perfect. A well presented crop allows eyes to remain fixed on the BG mountains. This is a really excellent photo, and is a good example of nature photography. The reflections are beautiful and your composition with the contrasting light and colors and the tree silhouette works so well. Very nice!

Hello Ian - One of the world's wild and unspoilt places and a fine view very nicely presented. The reflections are clean and clear, I love the symmetry which transforms all the triangular features into diamonds. Just beautiful! A place I would love to visit some day. Warm regards Rosemary

Gidday Ian
What a way to announce your return, with a humdinger like this. Jeez you must be delighted with yourself, it's breath-taking. Not much to say about the technical side of things, all spot-on and pin-sharp. So I can just look and enjoy, if that's OK with you.
Cheers and great to have you back

Hello Ian and welcome back from Canada
Beautiful picturesque mountain scene and wonderful reflection so typical of the Canadian landscape. I rather like that you included the shrubs on either side in the FG they actually direct your eyes into the center of the shot and highlight a diamond within. Nice TFS
Cheers Peter
