Photographer’s Note

Le "Lion's Gate Bridge" relie le centre ville de Vancouver avec la rive nord de la baie à travers le fameux Stanley Park, à ma connaissance le seul endroit où des aigles à tête blanche nichent pratiquement au centre-ville.
En passant sur la piste cyclable sous le pont, ce point de vue qui lui donne l'air d'enjamber les montagne était tout simplement irrésistible.
En attendant les jeux olympiques d'hiver de 2010!

Lion's Gate Bridge

The Lion's gate Bridge links Downtown Vancouver with Vancouver North on the other side of the bay through the famous Stanley Park, to my knowledge the only place where bald eagles live practically downtown.
While passing on the bicycle path under the bridge, this POV making it soar over the mountains was simply irresistible.
While we're waiting for the 2010 winter olympics!

Great POV under the bridge and good composition with this long diagonal.An interesting construction,these pilars look so fragile.Nice blue tones and all the best for the wintergames.

Quelle jolie photo, j aime beaucoup ce point de vue de ce pont qui fait une diagonale tres originale, l arrire plan apporte une pronfondeur sublime, j aime beaucoup cette photo de Vancouver

Again in Canada the winter olympics? Well, looks like winter sportspeople have good taste for tourism :-)

You know, the composition of this picture is great, however, the contrast is way too strong on the foreground and too weak on the background. I think this place deserves another try, maybe with a dry morning.

PS I think there is a mistake on the map coordinates.
