Alvin,
With the light not yet reaching ground level, it almost seems that these towers exist in order to catch this "high light."
This must be where the king lives!
Very tidy composition of many lines.

HI Alvin,
You have already shown more attractive skyline corners, but timing is great on that one taken during the glowing hour to have just the buildings shine in the light and the ground level in the shade.
Have a nice sunday JY

Hi Alvin, I love the warm light you captured on the heights of these buildings. Maybe alittle more space to the left of frame to balance composition and mask the crane. Well done.

Hi Alvin
Wonderful reflections of the downtown highrise, with a superb warm vs cold color contrast, between the orange tinted facades & the blue sky / water. Excellent symmetry, good sharpness, & tfs!

Hi Alvin
You have a nice long leading shoreline that leads our eyes to the mountains :D The reflection has a painterly quality to it. All in all a pleasing composition. I'm surprised there are no joggers out there.

Hi alvin,
A fine urban sunrise shot indeed. I love the vertical perspective to take best advantage of the tall buildings and corresponding reflections. I am also struck by the diagonal lines created and the good sense of depth in this well balanced and perfectly composed presentation. TFS. Gerald

Alvin,
your approach to this scene reminds me indeed a lot of your Canadian Rockies shots. The composition of details in the foreground are typical for the lakes and the high buildings in that marvelous gloden colors the peaks. However the strong lines of the stairs to the right are some new geometrical feature that you only will find in urban areas unless you use this as a comparison to some tree on the ground.

Hi Alvin,
The reflections in the water are an asset to the composition. The light of the sunrise brings out the colors. The point of view leads our eyes towards the highrise buildings. the subject is well framed. Have a nice day.

I like the balance of this composition and the golden light that draws your eyes fast to the photo. Another beautiful documentation of a lovely city.
Sorry for the delayed response as I am still laboring on making my new computer system work. I am having problems running my hardwares and softwares on Vista.
Thank you for your visit and comments on my photo, "NIce, France".
