Looking west from Wreck Beac,h a clothing optional beach located on the University of British Columbia.

It's certainly one of the nicest places in Vancouver I've seen where it seems the sea just throws itself far out into the distance and very far away, just a few hints of the islands.

If you want to visit, I went on Saturday morning and shared the entire stretch with only one other person that was keeping quiet as well. There seems to be a lot of places for people to congregate here so I imagine it would get much much busier later in the day (lots of beach parties too, I think since there were so many bottles lying around and even some smoking fire pits)
