Well, as promised I said I would post another photo of the tiny Vancouver harbor with the fishing boats and the city in the bg.
My favorite Vancouver bridge is tucked in behind the fishing boat, the Burrard Street Bridge.
My girlfriend often makes fun of me for capturing this photo from this location because she'll say to me, "you're going down there AGAIN?"
Yep, again - I love it here, why not right?
Hope you like it too.
Have a great weekend

I like the composition with the small boat and the background chaos...a lot of shapes there, very spectacular.
Have a fine weekend.

Hello Craig ,
One more picture from the Vancouver harbor :) But your towm is a little bigger than mine ;) . I like the contrast , here , between the traditional fishing boat and the high rises in the BG . A beautiful light , too .

Looking at your all photos I can say Vancouver is a beautiful modern, huge town with many interesting places not only for tourists but for photographers, too.
Wonderful gardens, parks, modern buildings. I wonder - is there any old district with destroyed houses and a bit neglected?
Very cool shot. I like the reflections in the water and the whole composition, of course.
Have a nice weekend!

I remember this bridge from your previous shot(but from a distance and therefore not so detailed as here).
All these boats, yachts and their masts create here so eye-catchig "chaos"-I really like it!Another thing I enjoy and which you captured so excellently is the water with so lovely reflections(reflected in its surface boats and buildings from the BG create also very nice "metallic" look of it)
And I can only say-good you went down there again:)
Wish You a nice weekend

Ciao e buon fine settimana

Well I know that feeling of visiting the perfect location in my hometown over and over again and even if I have the same picture a thousand times in my collection, I am still drawn to it again.
This is such an iconic view over Vancouver, it sums it perfectly up.

Lovely shot from this very busy looking harbour going by the amount of masts in the background . Clear, sharp and great reflections on the water. Nicely balanced composition with the fishing boat in front of the bridge leading to the tower blocks in the background.

A busy port full of interest showing an interesting side to the Harbour and one which has been very well composed and captured. Wow, what a shimmering reflection with some nice ripples in the water lead the eye in towards the eye catching trawler and the background. The colours and processing are spot on, it must've been an amazingly interesting place to shoot Craig, very much benefited from the brilliant light. Simply delightful and extremely pleasing to the eyes, Congrats.

I thought I recognised that Bridge. I walked across the Burrard bridge when I was in Vancouver. Some good shots to be had from up there! The big boat and reflections are a bonus in this image. Well composed using the rule of thirds. Tfs!
ikeharel (44057) 2013-09-18 1:01
The fishing boat and the "forest" of masts well framed by the city skyline and the bridge on BG.
Pic. space well divided in a mostly blue harmony.
*** A Q sent to you.
