Photographer's Note
In my last photo i showed you the False Creek area of Vancouver.
This area is almost in the exact same location, but its closer to Yaletown. Living in Yaletown or living in False Creek is like choosing between driving a Porsche or a Lambourghini...each would be fantastic.
I took this photo from a bridge deck on a sunny September day a couple years ago. Walking across the Barrard Street Bridge or the Granville Street Bridge will give you these views.
Hope you like it
Cheers

Hi Craig,
I very much prefer this one compared to the previous cloudy one. The winter in Finland has been so dark and cloudy, on some places the cloudiest in last 50 years.
It is easy to love this view. Big boats and tall buildings with seaview. You spacious framing fits in the reflections nicely.

Hello Craig,
very nicely composed shot with the boats in the foreground and skyscrapers peeking from behind. Good light resulted in bright colors and some reflections in the water. Very good sharpness.
Well done

Hello Craig,
Having a 30h floor apartment and a five minute walk to your yacht wouldn't be a bad idea. Yes. this looks like a nice place to live. For those unfortunate ones who don't have a few million dollars it's a god thing to be able to shoot pictures on a sunny day with fine reflections in the water.
Best regards,
Gert

Hi Craig
nice shot of this exclusive and expensive location. Looks nice and very Monte Carlo! Executed to your usual high standard and an attractive presentation. My boat is the little turquoise one! ;-)

Hi Craig - So which will it be? Porsche or Lambourghini? Don't forget you need the boat as well! This shot illustrates well an aspect of Vancouver that really appealed to me. Despite it being quite a large city, I found it to be airy and open with plenty of space and an 'outdoors' feel. Lovely shot.... I shall have to visit your city again one day. Warm regards Rosemary

Hi Craig
What an impressive skyline! an extremely strong crisp-clean shot so well aportioned like that, it's half cityscape and the other half is more of a natural feel. Love this for all the right reasons, particularly I love the mild reflections and the deep blue water make this shot for me. You were blessed to see it, doubly blessed to capture it. A pleasure to be able to make this points #32, TFS.
Kind regards

Hi Craig,
I must say, I am a big fan of the skyline here, it is tall, great architecture and I really like that the buildings all have the me light tones, it gives an airy feel to the scene, unlike some cities which can look cloying with their dark colours. This is emphasized by the great reflections and the lovely blue water with its boats. This does indeed look like a wonderful area.
Cheers.

Hi Craig,
The reflections on the water are assets to the composition. The distance between the boast and the highrise buildings is giving depth to the scene. The point of view is showing the details and colors of the highrise buildings. The good luminosity is giving nice tints to the colors. Have a nice day.
