Photographer’s Note
My cousin Dave and I were at the Harbour Air seaplane base in downtown Vancouver waiting for our flight to leave when I snapped this shot of this seagull having just successfully snagged his lunch.
It was quite interesting watching him as he landed in the water, and taking numerous attempts at popping up out of the water to give himself enough height to dive bomb his target on a rock under the water.
FInally after a few attempts he managed to pry him off the rock.
I like this shot as the wings are nicely posed.
Hope you like the shot,
- Dan

Hi Daniel,
Wow, one of those lucky moments for sure. This has got to be a one of few images ever taken with a star fish captured by the seagull. Very well done and TFS. Gerald

Hi Dan
Well observed, and you waited to get the proper shot with the wings fuul frame. I like also the drops of water coming from the seastar.
Greetings
