Photographer’s Note
Taken with a tripod and cable release. The strange dark object at the bottom is part of the dock below. I couldn't include more water due to the dock and I couldn't get any closer to the water than where I took the pic

Hi, Brilliant Idea to capture the blue hour, but sorry to say, not so well executed. I do not know the location, so not all what I propose to improve the picture could be possible to realize due to the limitation of the spot: I recommend to use the next time a tripod when shooting during the blue hour, try different exposures, give the views more of the reflection in the water and less sky.
Good luck
Best regards Urs

Hi Brandon,
Partially I agree with Urs: there is a bit too much sky and the reflections are cut off slightly.
What I find most disturbing is the "thing" in the lower left side of the photo. What is that?
On the bright side, the colors are wonderful and this can be a quite appealing photo.
I can`t say anything about the sharpness at this size but I don`t think there is a problem with it.
In the photo`s info it says f/7.1 and you mentioned f/9 in your reply; the difference is not important, anyways.
30" exposure....hmm, that`s a bit long and if you don`t have a sturdy tripod and if the air is moving, that exposure is too long.
I hope this helps,
Nelu

Hi Brandon,
very nice shot. I like a loght light management and reflections on water. It's just a pity for wide lenses distorsion.
