Photographer’s Note
As we arrived to surf at Long Beach in Tofino, we found that it was so misty you couldn't even see the sea from the beach. After about 30 mins it was totally clear.

I know exactly where that beach is!
And your photo is accurate with the foggy air.
I like the sepia-toned effect which makes the subject stand out from the background. The leading line to the other surfer is a valuable element of this composition.

a strange mood from this misty light, with these surfers crossing the sea of woods to reach the real sea.
