Photographer’s Note
Mt Relstoke is a great place to go for the alpine flower meadows. It's very easy to access by car, with just a 20 minute walk to get you to the top. The flowers are really at their peak in mid August, so we missed it this year. Still, it was lovely.
I added a workshop.....an earlier photo that was taken of the same scene a year ago, with a cheaper camera. The lenses and resultant photos are quite different, the present lense being very wide angle.

Hi Steve. I like the idea of one of those WA lenses also but first a new camera I think. Great photo. Excellent depth and good management of light. Good comparison of old and new lenses. Thanks for sharing.
Cheers, Paul.

Hi Steve,
This place also look like prime bear territory! Very nice image and very colourful. The flowers on the foreground add a nice element to this place. The colours are nicely saturated in my opinion making this image more pleasant...Need to get me a wide angle lens!
